World of Warcraft is stupid. The premise, execution, and people who populate it are all three levels of functionality below retarded. Every time someone starts yapping about the latest raid, or how high their armor is, I want to punch them in the mouth.
People pour huge amounts of time and money into this game. They spend months, years even, playing. They ignore friends, work, and even take time off school, just to play World of Warcraft. At the end of it all, what do they have? What have they accomplished? Nothing, except to ostracize themselves.
World of Warcraft would still be a terrible game, even if you only had to pay for it once. I played the free ten day trial; I played it until they asked for my money, and I told them to get stuffed, like a normal person would do. Who the hell keeps paying for a game, every month? You’ve already paid for the game itself, and the monthly fee doesn’t cover your internet access, so where’s that money go? It goes to solid gold hookers and mountains of cocaine for the developers, laughing at all the idiots who keep forking over money to play a videogame.
I don’t have anything against the game developers themselves. Good for them, for creating a game good enough to completely rope people in like that. The people I have issue with, are the idiots completely cracking out on the game. Do the world a favor; next time someone starts talking about their WoW character, take them to a strip club, and re-introduce them to the real world.
World of Warcraft is a prime example of everything that is wrong with the world. It’s the antithesis of a social life, good health, or having a job. It ropes people in, and spits them out when they’re broke, and alone. World of Warcraft is heroin for the digital age.
